Vintage Washburn EC-29 Challenger I in Magma Blue/Pink finish made in 1988 with Original Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid alder body, 3-piece maple neck-thru and rosewood fingerboard with a color matched headstock. Equipped with a Washburn Single Coil in the middle position and an EMG Designed Humbucker in the bridge position. Controlled by 1 volume pot, 1 tone pot, 1 active mid-range boost pot and a 3-way blade switch. The 25.5" scale length neck has acrylic dot inlays and white side markers with 29 jumbo frets (compensated fret wire above the 24th fret) on a 12" radius with a medium C profile. The hardware is comprised of black Washburn sealed die-cast tuning machines with cloche heads, a Floyd Rose Locking nut, a surface-mounted Washburn 600T Licensed Floyd Rose Double Locking Tremolo bridge and black knurled dome knobs.
This guitar is in overall very good condition. There are light surface marks throughout the guitar. The headstock has a small ding on the headstock. The treble side of the body has some deeper scratches. Some of the hardware has light rust. There is a small ding on the edge near the blade switch. (See Pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 9-42 strings. Includes Original Hard Shell Case.
