Supro Model 6498 VR Vibra-Verb 1965

The Supro Model 6498 VR Vibra-Verb is one of the rarest and most powerful amplifiers produced by Valco during the mid 1960s. Built in Chicago in 1965, this all-tube combo delivers approximately 35 watts through a unique 15" and 10" Jensen speaker configuration, producing the thick, harmonically rich overdrive and dynamic response that have made vintage Supro amplifiers legendary. Featuring dual channels, tube-driven spring reverb, and the lush Valco vibrato circuit, the 6498 VR offers everything from warm cleans to raw, singing breakup with unmistakable vintage character.

This amplifier is in very good vintage condition with honest cosmetic wear throughout that is consistent with its age. It retains its original gray Rhino covering, chrome control panel, and matching Jensen Special Design speakers: a C15R and C10R, date coded one week apart in early 1965 (220509 and 220510), strongly indicating this mixed-speaker configuration is original to the amplifier. Fully functional and ready for studio or stage.
