Vintage Rickenbacker 4001 in Mapleglo finish made in 1975 with Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid bound maple body, 3-piece maple/walnut/maple neck-thru and bound rosewood fingerboard. Equipped with its original set of Rickenbacker Ultra Wide Range single coils in the neck and bridge positions. Controlled by 2 volume pots, 2 tone pots and a 3-Way toggle switch comprised of its original CTS pots dating to the 35th week of 1974. The 33.25" scale length neck has pearloid triangle inlays and black side markers with 20 medium jumbo frets on a 7.25" radius with a medium "D" profile. The hardware is comprised of nickel Rickenbacker open gear tuning machines with clover heads, a synthetic nut, a Rickenbacker adjustable 4-saddle bridge w/ adjustable mute and black grip knobs with a single ply white pickguard.
This guitar is in overall very good condition. There are light surface marks and small dings throughout. The back of the body has belt rash and a spot of wear in the middle that goes to the wood. The finish on the tuning machines is worn and one of the screws was replaced. There are some spots of discoloration. (See Pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 45-100 strings. Includes Hard Shell Case.
