Vintage Rickenbacker 4001 in Jetglo finish made in 1974 with Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid bound maple body, maple neck-thru and bound rosewood fingerboard. Equipped with its original set of Rickenbacker Ultra Wide Range pickups in the neck and bridge positions. Controlled by 2 volume pots, 2 tone pots and a 3-way toggle switch comprised of its original CTS pots dating to the 14th week of 1974. The 33.25" scale length neck has pearloid triangle inlays and red side markers with 20 medium jumbo frets on a 7.25" radius with a medium "D" profile. The hardware is comprised of nickel Schaller sealed die-cast tuning machines with Y-Shape heads, a synthetic nut, a Rickenbacker adjustable 4-saddle bridge w/ adjustable mute and black grip knobs with a single ply white pickguard.
This guitar is in overall good condition. There are finish chips, dings, dents and surface marks throughout. The tuning machines were changed out at some point and most of the original holes were doweled, but there are also some open holes. There are a few dings on the neck and fretboard. (See Pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 45-100 strings. Includes modern Rickenbacker Hard Shell Case.
