Medium Rare Guitars Diablo “Rat Strat” Relic Black Over Sunburst Heavy Relic 2022 w/Hardshell Case

This guitar started its life with us as restoration project of a Vintage Fender Strat Body that had been refinished at some point in it's life. During the beginning phase of its stripping process Our luthier and Founder of "Medium Rare Guitars" who is formally of Gibson's Custom Shop in Nashville discovered it had once been sunburst and quickly decided it would be a crime to not keep this a paint over paint and continued with a full relic job! The Neck was a Musickraft blank which has been modified, hand shaped and outfitted with Medium Jumbo stainless steel frets. As a Diablo Ambassador it needed some tattoos if it was to represent us, so the headstock got some in-house laser engravings to make it official. The hardware was curated from our personal vintage hardware collections and The Bareknuckles where an easy choice to give this guitar the tonal attitude it needed to fit it's new life.

Details

Medium Rare Guitars Diablo "Rat Strat" Relic Parts Caster in Black over Sunburst finish restored in 2022 with Vintage Fender Hardshell. This guitar features a Vintage Fender MIJ solid alder body with a Modified Musickraft roasted flamed maple neck and fingerboard. Equipped with a set of our favorite BareKnuckle Old Guard Single Coils with black covers for contrast. Controlled by 1-volume, 2-tone knobs and a 5-way blade switch. The 25.5" scale length neck has white dot inlays and 22 medium jumbo stainless steel frets on a 16" radius with a hand shaped neck profile. The hardware is comprised of aged nickel/chrome vintage Schaller sealed diecast tuning machines, a bone nut, a vintage Floyd Rose bridge, and white top hat knobs with a 4-ply white/black pickguard.

Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 10-46 strings and includes vintage Fender hardshell Case
