Martin SWD Sitka Spruce Top Natural 1998 w/Hard Shell Case

Martin SWD in Natural finish made in 1998 with Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a double bound cherry back & sides body with a sitka spruce top, cherry neck and a katalox fingerboard with a tortoise overlay headstock. The 25 3/8" scale length neck has mother of pearl dot inlays and white side markers with 20 vintage frets on a 14" radius with a slim C profile. The hardware is comprised of gold Martin sealed die-cast tuning machines with cloche heads, a corian nut, a compensated bone saddle bridge w/ katalox base and a single ply tortoise shell pickguard.

This guitar is part of a series built in accordance with the rules of the Forest Stewardship Council as independently certified by Smart Wood; over 70% of the wood used originated in forests managed in an ecologically responsible manner.

This guitar is in overall excellent condition. There is a small ding on the back of the headstock and the overlay on the front has some light surface marks. There is some light wear on the tuning machines. The back of the neck has light surface marks. The body has some areas of inconsistent finish and some small dings in the binding. The front of the body has a few small dings. (See Pics)

Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 12-53 strings. Includes Taylor-branded Hard Shell Case.
