Vintage Martin D12-35 12 String Acoustic in Natural finish made in 1967 with Hard Shell Case. This acoustic guitar features a double bound 3-piece Brazilian rosewood back & Brazilian rosewood sides body with a sitka spruce top, mahogany neck and bound ebony fingerboard. The 24 7/8" scale length neck has mother of pearl dot inlays and black side markers with 19 vintage frets on a 16" radius with a medium C profile. The hardware is comprised of chrome Martin sealed die-cast tuning machines with cloche heads, a bone nut, a Martin ebony base bridge w/ compensated bone saddle & ebony bridge pins and a single ply black pickguard.
This guitar is in overall good condition. It is in excellent playing condition for its age. It appears to have had a neck reset at some point in its life. A new bridge & belly plate was added at some point in its life. The body shows checking and playing wear, dents, and scuffs. The tuners were changed from the original two 6-in-line to 12 individual tuners, leaving behind the original holes. A hole was drilled for a second strap button but it was removed and the hole was left unfilled. There is a small square hole that was repaired on the treble side lower bout. The neck binding has some shrinkage splits on some of the frets. (See pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 10-47 (12 String) strings. Includes Hard Shell Case.
