Kramer American Series Vanguard White w/ Checkerboard 1986 w/Hard Shell Case (Refin)

Vintage Kramer American Series Vanguard in White w/ Checkerboard finish (refin) made in 1986 with Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid poplar body, 3-piece maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. Equipped with a Seymour Duncan SH-1 '59 Model in the neck position and a Seymour Duncan TB-6 Duncan Distortion in the bridge position. Controlled by 1 volume, 1 tone pot and a 3-way toggle switch. The 25.5" scale length neck has acrylic dot inlays and white side markers with 22 medium jumbo frets on a 12" radius with a medium "C" profile. The hardware is comprised of black Gotoh sealed die-cast tuning machines with cloche heads, a Floyd Rose Locking nut, a Floyd Rose Surface Mounted Original Double Locking Tremolo bridge w/ brass block and black chrome knurled dome knobs.

This Kramer guitar has been carefully inspected, set up, and documented. However, it was acquired as part of a large collection, and many guitars in that collection have been modified, repaired, assembled from multiple instruments, or fitted with replacement parts over the years.

This guitar is in overall good condition. At some point in its life this guitar was refinished in the white and checkerboard pattern. It appears to have been black originally as there are finish chips with black underneath. There are small marks in the finish near the corners of the black squares on the top. The sides of the body have a slightly textured finish to them along with some discoloration. There are small dings and marks throughout. The back has some finish chips below the tremolo cavity. Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 9-42 strings. Includes Hard Shell Case.
