Jackson USA Custom Shop RR 30th Anniversary Randy Rhoads #23 of 30 in Black finish built in 2010 by Mike Shannon with Original Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid poplar body, quartersawn maple neck-thru and bound ebony fingerboard with a bound, color matched head stock with script logo headstock. Equipped with a Seymour Duncan SH-1N '59 in the neck position and a Seymour Duncan SH-4 JB in the bridge position. Controlled by 1 volume pot, 2 tone pots and a 3-Way toggle switch. The 25.5" scale length neck has mother of pearl mini shark fin inlays and black side markers with 22 vintage frets on a compound 12"-16" radius with a standard profile. The hardware is comprised of gold Schaller Legacy brass tuning machines with crown heads, a bone nut, a Jackson Vintage Tremolo bridge and black knurled dome knobs on a brass pickguard.
This guitar was one of only 30 built by Jackson Master Builder Mike Shannon to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Jackson and is a replica of the first five guitars built for Randy Rhoads.
This guitar is in overall excellent condition with some light signs of age. It has some light surface marks, a few light surface scratches and light oxidation of the brass hardware. There are some horizontal marks on the fretboard along with some scuffs and deeper grooves. (See pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 9-42 strings. Includes Original Hard Shell Case, Original Hang Tag.
