Vintage USA Jackson Concert Bass Student Model in Platinum Pearl/Sequins finish owned by Jermaine Jackson made in 1984 with Flight Case. This guitar features a solid poplar body, maple neck-thru and rosewood fingerboard. Equipped with an EMG P in the neck position and an EMG 81 in the bridge position, controlled by 2 volume pots and 1 tone pot. The 34" scale length neck has pearloid dot inlays and white side markers with 21 jumbo frets on a 16" radius with a speed neck profile. The hardware is comprised of black Jackson Open Gear tuning machines with Y-Shape heads, a graphite nut, a Jackson adjustable bridge w/ brass saddles and black knurled dome knobs.
This Bass was built/modified for and owned by Jermaine Jackson for the 1984 Michael Jackson Victory Tour. It can be seen in several publications and videos. The sequin Fabric wrap on this bass matched and was the same fabric used for his stage outfit for this tour.
This guitar is in overall very good condition. There are small dings and dents throughout along with some finish splits. The back of the neck has some dark discoloration and there is some light delamination along the fretboard edge in various spots. (See Pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 45-100 strings. Includes matching strap w/ strap locks & Flight Case.
