Ibanez X Series Rocket Roll RR550 Flame Maple Top Cherry Sunburst 1984 w/Hard Shell Case

Vintage Ibanez X Series Rocket Roll RR550 in Cherry Sunburst finish made in 1984 with Gator Hardshell Case. This guitar features a solid basswood body with a bound flamed maple top, 3-piece maple neck and bound rosewood fingerboard with a bound headstock. Equipped with its original Ibanez Super 58 in the neck position and an Ibanez V-2 in the bridge position. Controlled by 2 volume pots, 1 tone pot and a 3-way toggle switch. The 25.5" scale length neck has pearloid block inlays and black side markers with 22 jumbo frets on a 305mm radius with a Rocket Roll profile. The hardware is comprised of gold Ibanez Smooth Tuner II tuning machines with cloche heads, a molded nut, an Ibanez Hard Rocker Pro Tremolo bridge and Sure Grip II knobs.

This guitar is in overall very good condition. There are light surface marks throughout the headstock, neck and body. There are some dings and dents on the tip of the headstock. The plating on the neck pickup cover/tuning machines/bridge is worn. There are several small dings and dents around the tips of the points. (See Pics)

Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 10-46 strings. Includes Gator Hardshell Case.
