Ibanez 540S in Cherry Wine finish made in 1990 with Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid mahogany body with a flamed maple top, maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. Equipped with two Ibanez C2 single coils in the neck & middle positions and an Ibanez F2 humbucker in the bridge position. Controlled by 1 volume pot, 1 tone pot and a 5-way blade switch with coil tap on positions 2 & 4. The 25.5" scale length neck has abalone oval inlays and white side markers with 22 jumbo frets on a 430mm radius with a Wizard profile. The hardware is comprised of cosmo black Gotoh sealed die-cast tuning machines with cloche heads, a Top Lok III nut, an Ibanez Lo Pro Edge Double Locking Tremolo bridge and cosmo black knurled dome knobs.
This guitar is in overall very good condition. There are light surface marks and small dings throughout. The tuning machines show some wear and the headstock has some light dings. There is a small crack on the back of the neck that has been repaired located near the bolts for the nut. The bridge/knobs show some wear. The neck pocket has some small finish splits. The middle latch on the case is broken (and is included in the case) but the other latches work as expected. (See Pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 9-42 strings. Includes Hard Shell Case.
