Hamer KK Downing Vector Flame Maple Top Transparent Red 1984 w/OHSC

Vintage Hamer Custom Shop KK Downing Vector in Transparent Red finish made in 1984 with Original Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid mahogany body with a flamed maple top, mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard with a color matched headstock with flame maple overlay. Equipped with its original Hamer V1 Slammer humbucker in the bridge position and controlled by one master volume pot. The 24.75" scale length neck has mother of pearl dot inlays and white side markers with 22 jumbo frets on a 10" radius with a medium "C" profile. The hardware is comprised of black 3x Hamer & 3x Schaller sealed diecast tuning machines with cloche heads, a graphite nut with Kahler string lock, a Kahler Locking Tremolo bridge and a black knurled dome knob with a 3-ply white on black pickguard.

This guitar is in overall good condition. Three of the tuners were replaced at some point in its life. The pickguard is new and still has the factory plastic film applied. There is belt rash on the back of the body that goes down to the wood. The rest of the body has light marks and dings throughout, mostly around the edges. The bottom latch on the case is broken. Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 10-46 strings. Includes Original Hard Shell Case.
