Gretsch G6030 Nightbird in Trans Black Burst finish made in Japan in1991 with Original Hard Shell Case. This acoustic guitar features a double bound laminated maple back&sides body with a solid sitka spruce top, 2-piece mahogany neck and bound rosewood fingerboard. Equipped with a preamp and Piezo pickup. Controlled by a master volume slider, bass, mid, and treble sliders. The 25.5" scale length neck has mother of pearl small dots / a scroll inlay at 12th fretand 21 narrow vintage frets on a 12" radius with a slim C neck profile. The hardware is comprised of gold Gretsch sealed diecast tuning machines, a bone nut ands a rosewood based bridge with mother of pearl inlay and compensated saddle.
These models are pretty rare now, they were only produced for a few years between 1989-91.
This guitar is in overall very good condition for its age with moderate signs of play. Light oxidation/ aging of the gold hardware, It has some binding shrinkage/ light checking at the seams, some light surface marks/ surface scratches, some light dings / Indentations and some belt rash. (See pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 9-45 strings and includes original hard shell case.
