Gretsch Chet Atkins Super Axe 7682 Sunburst 1977 w/OHSC

Gretsch Atkins Super Axe 7682 in Sunburst finish made in 1977 with Original Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a double bound chambered maple body, 3-Piece maple/walnut/maple neck and bound ebony fingerboard with a bound headstock. Equipped with its Dimarzio PAF humbuckers in the neck and bridge position. Controlled by 1-Master volume, 1-Master tone, 1-Phaser blend, 1-Phaser rate pot, a 3-Way toggle switch, 2-way mini toggle phaser on/off, and 2-way mini toggle compressor on/off switch, comprised of it's original CTS pots dating to the 5th wheel of 1977. The 24.75" scale length neck has mother of pearl small block inlays, black side markers with 22 vintage frets on a flat radius with a slim C profile. The hardware is comprised of chrome Schaller sealed Die-Cast tuning machines with cloche heads, a corian nut, a Gretsch "terminator" (leo quan bad ass), and black grip with reflector inserts knobs with a 1-Ply black pickguard.

This guitar is in overall very good condition for it's age with some light signs of play. it has some light surface marks, some light belt rash indents on it's back you can see under direct light, some light surface scratches and a small finish chip on it's rear headstock edge/ finish wear too. There is a binding separation on its lower front body age from shrinkage between the horn and lower bout. (See Pics) The DiMarzio pickups are aftermarket replacements and we do not have the original pickups. 

Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 10-46 strings. Includes Original Hard Shell Case, Built in Phaser and Compressor.
