Gibson Limited Edition Flying V "98" Anniversary Model in Natural Burst finish made in 2000 with Original Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a Solid Mahogany body, Mahogany neck and Rosewood fingerboard. Equipped with a Gibson 490R in the neck position and a Gibson 57 Classic in the bridge position. Controlled by 2 Volume, 1 Tone pot and a 3-Way Toggle Switch. The 24.75" scale length neck has Pearloid Dot inlays and White side markers with 22 Medium Jumbo frets on a 12" radius with a Slim Taper profile. The hardware is comprised of Nickel Grover Rotomatic tuning machines with Kidney heads, a Corian nut, a Gibson Nashville Tune-O-Matic Bridge, and Top Hat Reflector knobs with single ply white pickguard
These Limited Edition Models were first released in 1998 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Gibson Flying V. Not quite a 58 or a 67 V, but a blend of both model's features. It stayed in production until around 2001.
This guitar is in overall very good condition with some visible signs of play. It has some dings/ dents and dimples. Surface marks/ some surface scratches and light scuffs. The bridge pickup was swapped out and covers were added at some point in its life.(See Pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 10-46 strings. Includes Original Hard Shell Case.
