Vintage Gibson Les Paul Custom Twentieth Anniversary in Cherry Sunburst finish made in 1974 with Original Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a double bound solid sandwich mahogany/maple/mahogany body with a double bound 2-Piece maple top, 3-piece mahogany neck and bound ebony fingerboard with a bound headstock. Equipped with its original Gibson Patent stamp in the neck position and a Gibson Patent Sticker in the bridge position. Controlled by 2 volume, 2 tone pots and a 3-Way toggle switch comprised of its original CTS pots dating to the 30th week of 1974. The 24.75" scale length neck has mother of pearl block/ Twentieth Anniversary Embossed 12th fret inlay and black side markers with 22 vintage frets on a 12" radius with a slim taper profile. The hardware is comprised of gold Gibson Sealed Diecast tuning machines with keystone heads, a micarta nut, a Gibson ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic Bridge and witch hat knobs with a 5-Ply black pickguard.
This guitar is in overall very good condition with signs of play and age. It has surface marks, some surface scratches, some dings, dents and dimples most you can see under direct light. The gold pickup covers/ bridge Etc are worn and oxidized. The rear clasp on the chainsaw case is broken off. (See Pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 10-46 strings. Includes Original Hard Shell Chainsaw Case.
