Vintage Gibson Les Paul Custom 35th Anniversary in Ebony finish made in 1989 with Original Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid double bound mahogany body, mahogany neck and bound ebony fingerboard with a bound headstock w/ 35th Anniversary inlay. Equipped with its original set of three Gibson "Patent No" humbuckers in the neck, middle, and bridge positions. Controlled by 2 volume pots, 2 tone pots and a 3-way toggle switch comprised of its original CTS pots dating to the 36th week of 1989. The 24.75" scale length neck has mother of pearl block inlays and black side markers with 22 medium jumbo frets on a 12" radius with a Rounded 50's profile. The hardware is comprised of gold Gibson Vintage Deluxe tuning machines with keystone heads, a corian nut, a Gibson ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge and black top hat knobs with a 5-ply black on white pickguard.
This guitar is in overall very good condition. The body and back of the neck have light surface marks throughout that can be seen in direct light. The headstock has some light marks, stand rash, and a light impression from a clip-on tuner. There is fret sprout on the neck binding. The back of the body has some belt rash and marks on the cavity cover. The case has one broken latch but it closes and functions as expected. (See Pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 10-46 strings. Includes Original Hard Shell Case.
