Vintage Gibson Les Paul Custom in Tobacco Sunburst finish made in 1976 with Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a double bound sandwiched mahogany body with a maple top, 3-piece maple neck and bound ebony fingerboard with a bound headstock. Upgraded with a set of Gibson '57 Classic humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions. Controlled by 2 volume pots, 2 tone pots and a 3-way toggle switch consisting of its original CTS pots dating to the 5th week of 1976. The 24.75" scale length neck has mother of pearl block inlays and black side markers with 22 medium jumbo frets on a 12" radius with a slim taper profile. The hardware is comprised of gold Gibson sealed die-cast tuning machines with keystone heads, a corian nut, a Tone Pros Tune-O-Matic bridge and top hat reflector knobs with a 5-ply black on white pickguard.
This guitar is in overall very good condition. There are light surface marks and small dings throughout the neck and body. The back of the body has some belt rash and some deeper grooves. There are some finish chips around the neck joint. The fretboard has some light grooves in it. The gold plating on the hardware is worn and oxidized in most places. There are splits/discoloration in the neck and body binding. (See Pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 10-46 strings. Includes 1990's Gibson Hard Shell Case.
