Vintage Gibson Les Paul Custom in Cherry Sunburst finish made in 1976 with Original Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid double bound sandwiched mahogany/maple/mahogany body with a plain maple top, 3-piece maple neck and bound ebony fingerboard with a bound headstock. Equipped with a set of original Gibson "Patent No" humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions. Controlled by 2 volume pots, 2 tone pots and a 3-way toggle switch comprised of its original CTS pots dating to the 5th week of 1976. The 24.75" scale length neck has mother of pearl block inlays and black side markers with 22 medium jumbo frets on a 12" radius with a slim taper profile. The hardware is comprised of gold Gibson sealed diecast tuning machines with keystone heads, a corian nut, a Gibson Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge and top hat reflector knobs with a 5-ply black on white pickguard.
This guitar is in overall very good condition. There are light surface marks and small dings throughout. The hardware shows signs of age and wear. The bridge was replaced but the original is included. There are small dings in the binding. The tip of the headstock has a small chip. (See Pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 10-46 strings. Includes Original Hard Shell Case.
