Gibson Firebird V in Metallic Pearl White finish (refin) made in 2001 with Original Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid mahogany body, 9-piece mahogany/walnut neck-thru and bound rosewood fingerboard with a color matched headstock. Upgraded with a Seymour Duncan SM-2N in the neck position and a Seymour Duncan SM-3B in the bridge position. Controlled by 2 volume pots, 2 tone pots and a 3-way toggle switch. The 24.75" scale length neck has pearloid trapezoid inlays and black side markers with 22 medium jumbo frets on a 12" radius with a Slim Taper profile. The hardware is comprised of chrome Steinberger Gearless tuning machines with cloche heads, a corian nut, a Gibson ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge and top hat reflector knobs with a 3-ply white on black pickguard.
This guitar is in overall excellent condition. The entire guitar was refinished at some point in its life including the headstock. The serial number and imprints from the stock tuners are visible in direct light. A hole was drilled for a strap button but has since been relocated back to the original spot. There are small dings, light surface marks and uneven discoloration throughout. (See Pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 10-46 strings. Includes Original Hard Shell Case and green acrylic pickguard/cavity covers.
