Gibson Custom Shop Edition XPL Custom Ferrari Red 1985 w/Hard Shell Case

Vintage Gibson Custom Shop Edition XPL Custom in Ferrari Red finish made in 1985 with Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid mahogany body, mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard. Upgraded with a DiMarzio PAF 36th Anniversary in the neck position and a DiMarzio Super Distortion in the bridge position. Controlled by 1 volume pot, 1 tone pot and a 3-way toggle switch. The 24.75" scale length neck has pearloid dot inlays and white side markers with 22 medium jumbo frets on a 16" radius with a slim taper profile. The hardware is comprised of chrome Grover Mini-Rotomatic tuning machines with mini kidney bean heads, a corian nut w/ Kahler Stringlock, a flat-mount Kahler Flyer Tremolo bridge and black speed knobs.

This guitar is in overall good condition. There are light surface marks, small dings, dents and finish checking throughout the guitar. There are some finish touch up spots in various areas including the lower points and between the pickups. (See Pics)

Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 10-46 strings. Includes customized Gibson-branded Hard Shell Case.
