The Friedman ASC-12 is a 500-watt, full-range powered monitor specifically designed to bring out the best in modern amp modelers and profilers. Whether you run a Kemper, Axe-Fx, Helix, Quad Cortex, or Synergy rig, the ASC-12 translates your tone with authoritative lows, pristine highs, and uncompromising headroom.
Unlike wedge monitors, the ASC-12 is styled like a traditional guitar cab, making it ideal for players who want the feel and form factor of a backline amp. It shares the same Class G/AB amplifier platform as the Friedman ASM-12, but comes in a wider, rectangular Baltic birch enclosure that supports top-mounted floor units. With a custom Celestion 12" speaker, Celestion compression driver, and robust 2-way power section, this unit maintains the warmth and punch of a real amp while handling the full frequency response required by today's digital rigs.
Equipped with professional XLR in/out, high SPL handling, and versatile stage features like a ground lift and low-cut filter, the ASC-12 is built for touring reliability and plug-and-play simplicity. Made in the USA and built like a tank, it's the cabinet your modeler has been waiting for.
This example is in Very Good condition, with some small wear spots on the tolex, a bit of lift in a couple of the corners, and a crack in the plexi plate (see photos)
