Vintage Fender Vintage Reissue 1957 Stratocaster in Surf Green finish made in 1988 with Original Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid alder body, maple neck and maple fingerboard. Equipped with an its original set of Fender Vintage non beveled Staggered Pole Single Coils in the neck position, middle and bridge position. Controlled by 1 volume, 2 tone pots and a 5-Way blade switch comprised of it's original CTS pots dating to the 3rd week of 1988. The 25.5" scale length neck has black dot inlays and black side markers with 21 Vintage frets on a 7.25" radius with a slim C profile. The hardware is comprised of nickel/chrome Fender Vintage Style tuning machines with oval heads, a bone nut, a Fender Vintage Style Tremolo bridge and white top hat knobs with a Single ply white pickguard.
This guitar is in overall very good condition with some signs of play and age. It has light finish check thru out the instrument and the surf green has yellowed some over the years. It has some light surface marks/ light surface scratches and a few light dings with a couple finish nics and a few chips. One of the cases latch's is pressed in and sticks but still works manually. Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 9-42 strings. Includes Original Hard Shell Case.
