Vintage Fender Stratocaster Hardtail in 3 Tone Sunburst finish made in 1973 with Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid ash body, maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. Equipped with its original set of Fender Grey Bottom Single Coils in the neck, middle, and bridge positions dating to 1973. Controlled by 1 volume pot, 2 tone pots, and a 3-way blade switch comprised of its original CTS pots dating to the 33rd & 43rd weeks of 1972. The 25.5" scale length neck has white dot inlays and white side markers with 21 medium frets on a 7.25" radius with a thick "C" profile. The hardware is comprised of nickel Fender "F" Tuners tuning machines with contemporary cloche heads, a bone nut, a Fender Hardtail bridge w/ adjustable block saddles and white top hat knobs with a 3-ply white on black pickguard.
This guitar is in overall good condition. There are light surface marks, small dings and dents, finish chips and light finish checking throughout. There is some finish delamination on the edges of the fretboard. Some of the string ferrules have been replaced. The interior of the case is missing some of the fabric and arrived to us with duct tape holding the internals together. There is a hole in one of the corners as well, but the latches function properly. (See Pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 9-42 strings. Includes Fender Hard Shell Case.
