Vintage Fender Stratocaster in 3 Tone Sunburst finish made in 1965 with Original Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid alder body, maple neck and brazilian rosewood fingerboard. Equipped with a set of original Fender grey bobbin single coils in the neck, middle and bridge position dating to june first 1965. Controlled by 1 volume, 2 tone pots and a 5-Way blade switch comprised of its original Centralab pots dating to the 16th week of 1965. The 25.5" scale length neck has clay dot inlays and clay side markers with 21 vintage frets on a 7.25" radius with a medium C profile. The hardware is comprised of nickle/chrome Kluson deluxe double line tuning machines with oval heads, a bone nut, a Fender PAT PEND synchronized tremolo bridge and white top hat knobs with a 3 ply mint on black pickguard.
This guitar is in overall very good condition with visible sings of age and play. There isa small gap in the neck pocket. It has light finish check throughout the instrument, some finish wear, some bel rash on its back, a few dings/dents and some finish ships. the necks finish is lightly worn away from the first fret to the the mid section of neck. The pickguard has some shrinkage and split at one screw hole. (See Pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 9-42 strings. Includes Original Hard Shell Case.
