Fender Pre-CBS Stratocaster 3-Tone Sunburst 1958 w/OHSC (Neck Refin)

Vintage Fender Pre-CBS Stratocaster in 3-Tone Sunburst finish made in 1958 with Original Hard Shell Case (Neck Refin). This guitar features a solid alder body, maple neck and maple fingerboard. Equipped with its original set of Fender Black Bottom Single Coils in the neck, middle, and bridge positions. Controlled by 1 volume pot, 2 tone pots and a 3-way blade switch comprised of its original Stackpole pots dating to the 39th week of 1958. The 25.5" scale length neck has black dot inlays and black side markers with 21 vintage frets on a 7.25" radius with a medium "C" profile. The hardware is comprised of nickel Kluson Single Line Deluxe tuning machines with oval heads, a bone nut, a Fender "Patent Pending" Synchronized Tremolo bridge and white top hat knobs with a single-ply white pickguard.

This guitar is in overall very good condition for its age. At some point in its life a previous owner had the neck refinished on top of the original finish. There are marks and finish checking under the finish. The body has finish checking throughout along with light surface marks and finish chips/small dings. (See Pics)

Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 9-42 strings. Includes Original Hard Shell Case.
