Vintage Fender Jazzmaster in Sunburst finish made in 1959 with Original Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid alder body, maple neck and Brazilian rosewood fingerboard. Equipped with its original set of Fender Jazzmaster Black Bobbin single coils in the neck and bridge positions. Controlled by 1 volume pot, 1 tone pot, a 3-way toggle switch with Rhythm Circuit On/Off, Rhythm Circuit Volume Dial and Rhythm Circuit Tone Dial comprised of its original CTS pots dating to the 11th and 16th weeks of 1959. The 25.5" scale length neck has clay dot inlays and clay side markers with 21 vintage frets on a 7.25" radius with a medium "C" profile. The hardware is comprised of nickel Kluson Deluxe Single Line tuning machines with oval heads, a bone nut, a Fender 6-Saddle Jazzmaster bridge and white top hat knobs with a gold anodized pickguard.
This guitar is in overall good condition for its age. It received a new nut at some point in its life. We believe it also received a refret at some point long ago. There are small dings, surface marks, finish chips and finish checking throughout. The neck has some dings and discoloration. The plating on the hardware has oxidization, pitting, and some light rust/patina. The frets are on the flatter side. (See Pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 9-42 strings. Includes Original Hard Shell Case.
