Vintage Fender MIJ ST462 Stratocaster in Black finish made in 1988 with Original Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid alder body, maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. Upgraded with a set of USA Fender Tex Mex single coils in the neck/middle and bridge position. Controlled by 1 volume, 2 tone pots and a 5-Way blade switch upgraded with CTS pots and orange drop capacitors. The 25.5" scale length neck has white dot inlays and white side markers with 21 medium jumbo frets on a 7.25" radius with a medium "C" profile. The hardware is comprised of chrome Gotoh Sealed Die-Cast tuning machines with cloche heads, a synthetic bone nut, a Fender Hard Tail bridge with bent steel saddles and white top hat knobs with a 3 ply white on Black pickguard.
This guitar is in overall good condition with some visible signs of play and wear. it has surface marks, surface scratches, some finish wear and age. The neck has some dings and light dents, the body's lower top edge has a finish chip repair that has chipped again with some wear. The bridge has signs of oxidation with some pitting and light rust spots. the cases rear latch's and feet are rusted, one feet is missing.(See Pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 9-42 strings. Includes Original Hard Shell Case and the removed original pickups/ pots.
