Vintage Fender Duo Sonic in Desert Sand finish made in 1959 with Hard Shell Case (Refin). This guitar features a solid alder body, maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. Equipped with a pair of original Fender High Fidelity Single Coils in the neck and bridge position. Controlled by 1 volume, 1 tone pot and a 3-Way toggle switch comprised of its original CTS pots dating to the 47th week of 1958 & 16th week of 1959. The 22.5" scale length neck has clay dot inlays and clay side markers with 21 vintage frets on a 7.25" radius with a thin "C" profile. The hardware is comprised of nickel/chrome Kluson Deluxe Single Line tuning machines with oval heads, a bone nut, a Fender 2-way adjustable bridge and chrome knurled flat top knobs with a 1-Ply cream pickguard.
This guitar is in overall good condition with visible signs of play and age. it has light finish check through out the instrument. The body was refinished at some point in its life and the pickguard & nut have been replaced. It has finish worn through on several spots of the neck and body, scuffs, scratches and several dings and dents. (See Pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 10-46 strings. Includes Hard Shell Case.
