Regular price $2,400.00Fender '57 Reissue Stratocaster in Lake Placid Blue finish made in 1988 with Original Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid alder body, maple neck and maple fingerboard. Equipped with its original set of Fender Staggered Pole Black Bobbin single coils. Controlled by 1 volume knob, 2 tone knobs with dual capacitor mod and a 5-way blade switch with its original CTS pots dating to the 34th week of 1987. The 25.5" scale length neck has black dot inlays and 21 medium tall frets with a C neck profile. The hardware is comprised of Fender No Logo vintage-style tuning machines, a bone nut, a Fender vintage-style Standard Synchronized Tremolo bridge and white top hat knobs with a 1-ply parchment pickguard.
This guitar is in overall vey good condition for its age with some signs of play. It has some arm wear on the top front body edge, some light surface marks/surface scratches, some light dings/ dents. Light finish check marks here and there, finish wear on the edges of neck and a few small finish chips. The pickguard has signs of play and a hairline splits on a few of the screw holes. (See pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 9-42 strings and includes original hard shell case.
