Farm Pedals Boost Of The Dead V3 Multi-Circuit Boost Effect Pedal Blue
Say hello to the latest iteration of the Farm Pedals Boost of the Dead. This V3 version is combines three buffering style preamp circuits that Jerry Garcia used throughout his career. Circuit #1, controlled by the toggle switch, is a take on the Tiger Buffer, a clean unity buffer that restores your high-end signal adding nice top end sparkle to your instruments output signal. This is the same circuit from the older version of Boost of the Dead. #2 is, the footswitch labeled "B", is Farm's take on the Alembic Stratoblaster circuit. This one adds some 'grit and bite' to your tone and is capable of solid boost into dirt territory. Finally, #3, engaged by the "G" footswitch, is based on the Mutron style gain-stage. As the story goes, Garcia used a bypassed Mutron Envelope Filter as a line driver to great effect. End result is a warmer, mid-rangey, loud boost with a bit less hair than the Stratoblaster style.
Geof from Farm assures the user that this pedal is not an exact replica or clone of any other pedal and cannot make you sound like anyone, Jerry Garcia, or otherwise. But we can attest it's a remarkable boost pedal.
This pedal is in very good and functional condition.
Signs of use with scratches all over unit
Includes: Letter from builder
Velcro applied to fit on any pedalboard
