Vintage Daion The 80 in Sunburst finish made in early 1980s with Hard Shell Case. This acoustic guitar features a double bound mahogany body with a solid spruce top w/ ovangkol mahogany veneer, mahogany neck and bound rosewood fingerboard with a bound headstock w/ rosewood overlay & hand-carved logo inlay. The 25.5" scale length neck has brass dot inlays and brass side markers with 20 medium frets on a 15" radius with a medium "C" profile. The hardware is comprised of gold Daion sealed die-cast tuning machines with cloche heads, a brass nut, a rosewood base bridge w/ brass saddle & ebony bridge pins with a single ply tortoise shell pickguard.

This guitar is in overall very good condition. There are light surface marks and small dings throughout. There is a ding in the neck binding on the bass side. The back of the neck has a few small dents. There is some light discoloration of the body binding. The gold plating is mostly worn off on the tuning machines and there are some plating chips on the nut/saddle. (See Pics)

Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 12-53 strings. Includes Epiphone-branded Hard Shell Case.
