Hamer Custom Californian Red Sparkle 1989 w/OHSC

Hamer Custom Californian in Red Sparkle Finish made in 1989 with original hard shell case. This guitar features a solid mahogany body, 3-Piece maple neck and ebony fingerboard. Equipped with OBL 450s (Bill Lawrence)in the neck and bridge positions. Controlled by 1 volume, 1 tone pots a 3-Way toggle switch with 2-way mini toggle on off for the leds. The 25.5" scale length neck has mother of pearl boomerang inlays with runway LED markers and 27 jumbo frets on a 12" radius with a "slim fast" neck profile. The hardware is comprised of gold hamer sealed diecast tuning machines with cloche heads, a graphite nut, a hamer String-Thru body hardtail and knurled gold dome knobs.

This one off was built in 1989 for Fred Newell (Waylon Jennings, Charlie McCoy, Barefoot Jerry, Sessions and Nashville Player)

This guitar is in overall very good condition with some signs of play and age. It has some finish checking marks here and there, there are some surface marks/ light scratches and a few dings/ dents. (See pics)

Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 9-42 strings. Includes Original Hard Shell Case.
