Vintage Silvertone 1304 (aka Danelectro U-1 Short Scale) in Brown finish made in 1960 with Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a bound semi-hollow masonite and poplar body, poplar neck and Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard. Equipped with the original Copper Danelectro Lipstick pickup that is controlled by 1 volume and 1 tone pot comprised of the original CTS pots dating to the 43rd week of 1960. The 23.5" scale length neck has white dot inlays and no side markers with 18 vintage frets on a 20" radius with a medium C profile. The hardware is comprised of open gear tuning machines, an aluminum nut, an aluminum base bridge with rosewood saddle and gripped cream knobs with a clear acrylic pickguard.
This guitar is in overall good condition. The body has small dents, chips in the paint, light surface scratches, and wear around the edges. The neck has many chips and dents and the pickguard has light surface scratches from play. There is a small split on the corner of the aftermarket output jack plate. Two screws on the back have been replaced. (See pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 10-46 strings. Includes Hard Shell Case.
