Vintage Gibson The "V" CMT in Sunburst finish made in 1982 with Original Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid maple body with a bound curly maple top, 3-piece flamed maple neck and ebony fingerboard. Equipped with its original set of Gibson Dirty Fingers humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions. Controlled by 2 volume pots, 1 tone pot and a 3-way toggle switch comprised of its original CTS pots dating to the 41st week of 1981. The 24.75" scale length neck has pearloid dot inlays and yellow side markers with 22 medium jumbo frets on a 12" radius with a medium C profile. The hardware is comprised of chrome Grover Rotomatic tuning machines with keystone heads, a bone nut, a Gibson Top Adjust bridge and amber top hat knobs.
This guitar is in overall good condition. The headstock has a few light dings, some finish checking and a finish chip near the nut. The fretboard has some grooves on the treble side and there are some frets with divots, mostly towards the top of the neck. The back of the neck has some light dings. There is some finish chipping on the treble side of the neck/fretboard. The body has some light dings and surface marks throughout. The back has belt rash and some deeper scratches on the bass side. The handles on the case have been replaced. (See Pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 10-46 strings. Includes Original Hard Shell Case.
