Vintage Gibson Spirit in Sunburst finish made in 1983 with Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid maple body with a bound figured maple top, 3-piece maple neck and bound rosewood fingerboard. Equipped with its original set of Gibson "Patent No" humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions. Controlled by 2 volume pots, 1 tone pot and a 3-Way toggle switch comprised of its original CTS pots dating to the 26th week of 1983. The 24.75" scale length neck has pearloid dot inlays and black side markers with 22 medium jumbo frets on a 12" radius with a slim taper profile. The hardware is comprised of chrome Schaller-made Gibson Vintage Deluxe tuning machines with keystone heads, a corian nut, a Schaller-made 2-Piece wraparound bridge and gold speed knobs.
This guitar is in overall good condition. The headstock has some finish checking and a finish split on the treble side that wraps around the entire side. There are some very light surface marks on the neck. The body has some finish checking on all sides. There is a small scuff above one of the knobs. The bridge shows some aging and has some oxidization. (See pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 10-46 strings. Includes Hard Shell Case.
