Vintage Gibson Les Paul Standard in Tobacco Sunburst finish made in 1978 with Original Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid mahogany body with a one-piece maple top, 3-piece maple neck and bound rosewood fingerboard. Equipped with its original set of Gibson "Patent No" in the neck and bridge positions. Controlled by 2 volume pots, 2 tone pots and a 3-Way toggle switch comprised of its original CTS pots dating to the first week of 1978. The 24.75" scale length neck has pearloid trapezoid inlays and black side markers with 22 medium jumbo frets on a 12" radius with a slim taper profile. The hardware is comprised of upgraded gold Gibson Vintage Deluxe tuning machines with keystone heads, a corian nut, a chrome Gibson Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge and top hat reflector knobs with a cream pickguard.
This guitar is in overall very good condition. The headstock has some dents on the back and some light surface marks on the front. There are some surface marks towards the neck joint and the back of the neck finish has worn down. The body has a handful of small dents. The back has belt rash and some paint chips towards the center and on the edges. The original owner wrote "Mo Lordi" on both the back of the case and in the truss rod cavity. (See pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 10-46 strings. Includes Original Hard Shell Case.
