Vintage Gibson Les Paul Junior in TV Yellow finish made in 1956 with Vintage Hard Shell Thermometer Case. (Joe Riggio Refin/ Refret)This guitar features a solid mahogany body, mahogany neck and brazilian rosewood fingerboard. Equipped with its original Gibson P-90 dogear in the bridge position and Controlled by 1 volume, 1 tone pot comprised of its original Centralab pots dating to the 22nd week of 1955. The 24.75" scale length neck has pearloid dot inlays and white side markers with 22 medium jumbo frets on a 12" radius with a rounded profile. The hardware is comprised of nickel Kluson strip no line tuning machines with oval heads, a bone nut, an aftermarket aged compensated wrap around stop tail bridge and black top hat knobs with a single ply black pickguard.
This guitar is in overall very good condition for its age with signs age and play. This guitar has received a refret with new bone nut and also Received a refin/restoration by Joe Riggio. It has finger grooves worn into its fretboard, dings/dents, finish checking throughout the instrument and finish wear. The p90s plastic cover has cracks on one side. (See Pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 10-46 strings. Includes Vintage Hard Shell Thermometer Case.
