Gibson Explorer '76 Ebony 2008 w/OHSC

Gibson Explorer ‘76 in Ebony finish made in 2008 with Original Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid mahogany body, mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard. Equipped with a Gibson 490R in the neck position and a Gibson 498T in the bridge position. Controlled by 2 volume pots, 1 tone pot and a 3-Way toggle switch. The 24.75" scale length neck has pearloid dot inlays and white side markers with 22 medium jumbo frets on a 12" radius with a 50's rounded profile. The hardware is comprised of chrome Grover Rotomatic tuning machines with kidney heads, a Graph Tech Black Tusq nut, a Gibson Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge with stopbar tailpiece and black speed knobs with a 3 ply white celluloid pickguard.

This guitar is in overall very good condition. The headstock has some knicks around the edges, some finish checking, and light surface marks. The neck has a couple of light dents and surface marks. The back of the body has some belt rash and deeper surface marks near the electronics cover. The pickguard has some surface marks that are only seen in direct light. (See pics)

Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 10-46 strings. Includes Original Hard Shell Case.
