Vintage Fender Telecaster in Butterscotch Blonde finish made in 1952 with Vintage Fender Hardshell Case(Joe Riggio Refin). This guitar features a solid ash body, maple neck and maple fingerboard. Equipped with its original Fender Tele Black bobbin Single Coils in the neck and bridge position. Controlled by 1 volume, 1 tone pots and a 3-Way blade switch comprised of its Original Clarostat Pots & switch dating to the 20th week of 1952. The 25.5" scale length neck has Black dot inlays and Black side markers with 21 vintage frets on a 9.5" radius with a soft V profile. The hardware is comprised of nickel/chrome Kluson deluxe Patent Applied for "No Line" tuning machines with oval heads, a bone nut, a Fender Patent Pending Tele bridge with Brass barrel Saddles and chrome knurled dome knobs with a Black phenolic pickguard.
This guitar is in overall very good condition with some signs of age and play. At some point in it's live this guitar had been stripped and painted barn red and the neck re- lacquered and the body stripped again. The electronics back sides show signs of the red paint still. We had the body professionally refinished with nitrocellulose & relic'd By Joe Riggio to bring this back to what it should have been. The neck pickup had a short and was professionally rewound to spec and re-lacquered by Sonny Walton of Sonny's Custom Shop. The instrument has finish check thru out the instrument, finish wear on the neck and some light dings.(See Pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 9-42 strings. Includes Vintage 60s Fender Hardshell Case and a second vintage CRL152 3-way toggle switch.
