Fender Pre CBS Slab Board Stratocaster Fiesta Red 1960 w/OHSC (Refin/Refret)

Vintage Fender Pre-CBS Slab Board Stratocaster in Fiesta Red finish made in 1960 with Original Hard Shell Case(Refin/Refret). This guitar features a solid alder body, maple neck and brazilian rosewood slab board fingerboard. Equipped with its original Fender Black Bobbin Single Coil Strats in the neck position, middle and bridge position, middle and bridge pickups have been rewound. Controlled by 1 volume, 2 tone pots and a 3-Way blade switch comprised of its original stackpole pots dating to the 49th week of 1959. The 25.5" scale length neck has clay dot inlays and clay dot side markers with 21 vintage frets on a 7.25" radius with a medium "C" profile. The hardware is comprised of nickel/chrome Kluson Deluxe Single Line Pat No tuning machines with oval heads, a bone nut, a Fender Pat Pending Synchronized Tremolo bridge and white top hat knobs with a 3-Ply mint pickguard.

This guitar is in overall very good condition. It was refinished /received a refret at somepoint in its life along with the bridge and middle pickups being rewound. It has some dings/ dents, some surface marks and finish wear on the neck with some finish chipping on the headstock. The pickguard has some light shrinkage and two splits at screw holes. (See Pics)

Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 9-42 strings. Includes Original Hard Shell Case.
