Vintage Fender American Vintage Reissue ‘62 Stratocaster in Candy Apple Red finish made in 1987 with Original Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid alder body, maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. Equipped with a set of three Fender Black-Bobbin single coils in the neck, middle and bridge positions. Controlled by 1 volume pot, 2 tone pots and a 3-way blade switch. The 25.5" scale length neck has white dot inlays and white side markers with 21 medium jumbo frets on a 7.25" radius with a medium "C" profile. The hardware is comprised of nickel Fender Vintage Style tuning machines with oval heads, a bone nut, a Fender Synchronized Tremolo bridge and white top hat knobs with a 3-ply white on black pickguard.
This guitar is in overall very good condition. There are light surface marks and small dings throughout the guitar. The body has some small dings around the edges and some light finish checking. There is belt rash on the back and some finish chips around the neck joint. The pickups do not seem to match the staggered-pole set that would have come from the factory with this model, but the solder joints don't appear to be touched. (See Pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 9-42 strings. Includes Original Hard Shell Case and Ash Tray.
