Vintage B.C. Rich USA Custom Shop Explorer in Metallic Grey finish made in 1984 with gator hardshell case. This guitar features a solid mahogany body, mahogany neck-thru and rosewood fingerboard with a color matched headstock. Equipped with its original DiMarzio PAF in the neck position and a DiMarzio Super 2 in the bridge position. Controlled by 1-Volume, 1-Tone, 1-Boost gain pots and a 3-Way toggle switch. The 24 5/8" scale length neck has mother of pearl dot inlays and white side markers with 24 jumbo frets on a 12" radius with a thin "C" profile. The hardware is comprised of black Sealed Diecast tuning machines with cloche heads, a bone nut with string lock, a Kahler Tremolo bridge and aluminum top hat knobs.
This guitar is incredibly rare! Only 20 or so Neckthru Explorers were ever made in 1980's & not offered by B.C. Rich due to Gibson Explorer shape, these were only made for few specific endorsed artists.
This guitar is in overall very good condition with some signs of age and play. It has some surface marks, several light dings/ dents /dimples, some belt rash on its back ands some finish chipping on its edges/ (See Pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 10-46 strings. Includes Gator Fitted Hardshell Explorer Case.
