Vintage Jackson USA Soloist in Platinum Pearl w/ Partial Zebra Stripes finish made in 1986 with Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid poplar body, maple neck-thru and rosewood fingerboard with a bound/color matched headstock. Equipped with two EMG SA single coils in the neck and middle positions and an EMG 85 in the bridge position. Controlled by 1 volume pot, 1 tone pot, 3x individual pickup on/off switches and 1 boost on/off switch with boost gain in the control cavity. The 25.5" scale length neck has mother of pearl dot inlays and white side markers with 24 jumbo frets on a 16" radius with a speed profile. The hardware is comprised of black Jackson sealed die-cast tuning machines with cloche heads, a Floyd Rose Locking nut, a surface-mounted Floyd Rose Original Double Locking Tremolo bridge and black knurled dome knobs.
This guitar is in overall very good condition. We believe this guitar started its life as Platinum Pearl and the zebra stripes were added at some point. There are light surface marks and small dings throughout. There are a few finish chips around the corners of the body. There is a small chip under the bridge on the treble side. The sides of the fretboard have some finish delamination and there are some light horizontal lines between some of the frets. Some of the hardware has light rust. (See Pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 9-42 strings. Includes Hard Shell Case.
