Fender Stratocaster Hardtail Black 1979 w/Hard Shell Case

Vintage Fender Stratocaster Hardtail in Black finish made in 1979 with Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid alder body, maple neck and maple fingerboard. Equipped with its original set of Fender Grey Bottom Single-Coils in the neck, middle, and bridge positions. Controlled by 1 volume pot, 2 tone pots and a 5-way blade switch comprised of its original CTS pots dating to the 1st week of 1979. The 25.5" scale length neck has black dot inlays and black side markers with 21 medium frets on a 7.25" radius with a medium C profile. The hardware is comprised of chrome Fender "F" Stamp tuning machines with contemporary cloche heads, a bone nut, a Fender 6-Saddle Hardtail bridge w/ graphite saddles and black top hat knobs with a 3-ply black on white pickguard.

This guitar is in overall good condition. There are light surface marks, small dings and dimples throughout. There is some finish checking on the headstock. Some of the frets have divots and flat spots. The back of the neck has some small dings and discoloration. There are some scratches on the pickguard and around the controls. (See Pics)

Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 9-42 strings. Includes Hard Shell Case.
