Gibson Les Paul Deluxe Plain Maple Top Cherry Sunburst 1976 w/Hard Shell Case

Vintage Gibson Les Paul Deluxe in Cherry Sunburst finish made in 1976 with Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid 3-piece sandwiched mahogany/maple/mahogany body with a bound maple top, 3-piece maple neck and bound rosewood fingerboard. Equipped with its original set of Gibson Mini Humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions. Controlled by 2 volume pots, 2 tone pots and a 3-way toggle switch comprised of its original CTS pots dating to the 10th week of 1976. The 24.75" scale length neck has pearloid trapezoid inlays and black side markers with 22 medium jumbo frets on a 12" radius with a rounded profile. The hardware is comprised of nickel Gibson Vintage Deluxe tuning machines with keystone heads, a corian nut, a Gibson Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge and gold top hat reflector knobs with a single ply cream pickguard.

This guitar is in overall very good condition. There are some light marks on the headstock along with some stand rash and some bubbling in the finish around the tuning machines due to shrinkage. The fretboard has light horizontal scratches in some places and a few of the inlays are chipped. There is a small gap between the body and neck binding on both sides, which appears to be shrinkage. The neck has some light dings on it. The body has several dents and dings around the edges and light surface marks throughout. The sides of the body have aged into a lighter brown color. The bridge has some wear on the top edge. The combination lock on the case is broken but the rest of the latches secure as normal. The high E intonation saddle screw was replaced at some point. Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 10-46 strings. Includes 1990's Gibson Hard Shell Combination Lock Case.
