Marshall Vintage 1970 Super Tremolo 50 Watt Model 1961 4x10 Basketweave Bluesbreaker Combo
Regular price
$10,499.99
The 1970 Marshall Super Tremolo Model 1961 is a 50-watt, all-tube 4x10 combo amplifier built on the legendary JMP circuit. This amp delivers the dynamic, rich overdrive and articulate cleans that define early British blues and rock tones. Featuring a factory tremolo circuit, dual channels, and four inputs, it offers the same raw power as its Model 1987 counterpart but in a combo format with a quartet of 10-inch speakers for a punchier, more immediate response.
Housed in its original basketweave cabinet, this amp retains its classic plexi-style tone with a warm, organic breakup and natural compression at higher volumes. The tremolo circuit provides deep, pulsating modulation, adding to the amp's versatility. Powered by two EL34 output tubes, the Model 1961 delivers thick mids, glassy highs, and tight bass response, making it an iconic choice for blues and classic rock players.
