PRS Custom 22 Flame Maple Top Purple 1996 w/OHSC

PRS Custom 22 in Purple finish made in 1996 with Original Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid mahogany body with a natural-bound flamed maple top, mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard. Equipped with a set of PRS Dragon humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions, controlled by 1 volume pot, 1 tone pot and a 5-way rotary dial with coil tap on positions 2 & 4. The 25" scale length neck has abalone birds inlays and metal side markers with 22 medium jumbo frets on a 10" radius with a wide thin profile. The hardware is comprised of nickel Schaller locking sealed die-cast tuning machines with cloche heads, a synthetic nut, a PRS Compensated Stoptail bridge and black speed knobs.

This guitar is in overall very good condition. The original color has aged into a vibrant red. The original color can be seen under the pickup rings/bridge and "Purple" is written in the routing for the bridge pickup. The body has picking marks on the top and light surface marks throughout the back. The headstock/back of neck also have light surface marks. There are light impressions of the original tuning machines in the finish on the back of the headstock. (See Pics)

Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 10-46 strings. Includes Original Hard Shell Case & COA.
