Jackson MIJ King V Pro Mustaine in Black finish made in 1994 with Original Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid poplar body, quartersawn maple neck-thru and bound ebony fingerboard with a bound headstock. Upgraded with a Seymour Duncan SH-2 Jazz Model in the neck position and a Jackson J-80 in the bridge position. Controlled by 2 volume pots, 1 tone pot and a 3-way blade switch. The 25.5" scale length neck has mother of pearl sharkfin inlays and black side markers with 24 extra jumbo frets on a compound 12"-16" radius with a speed profile. The hardware is comprised of black Gotoh sealed die-cast tuning machines with cloche heads, a graphite nut, a Kahler 3300 APM Fixed bridge and black knurled dome knobs.
This guitar is in overall very good condition. There are light surface marks and small dings/dents throughout. The tips of the points have small chips that go to the wood. At some point in its life it received neck work including a refret and filling of a crack that runs down the middle of the fretboard with super glue. There are tooling marks and small chips on the neck binding. The headstock has some light pitting and finish splits. There is a patch of slightly lighter finish on the top bass side. (See Pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 9-42 strings. Includes Original Hard Shell Case.
